Dave Litwack,

Dave Litwack has had a long career starting from the early days of the software industry. Most recently, Dave was co-founder and CEO of SilverStream Software, one of the first companies to provide an application server, the engine behind web-based, business applications. SilverStream was acquired by Novell Inc, where he served as Senior Vice President until 2005.

Previously, Dave was Executive Vice President responsible for all product development at Cullinet Software, a mainframe database management company and the first software company to ever go public in 1978. In 1989, Dave founded Powersoft, the leading Client/Server development tool vendor, which was acquired by Sybase Inc., where he headed all product development as Executive Vice President.

Dave has served as Director for numerous companies including: Watermark, Atria, Trellix, eRoom and Excelon, in addition to Powersoft and SilverStream. He currently serves as Director for 170 Systems, mValent and EnterpriseDB.

He is a graduate of Brandeis University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, and holds a MAS in Computer Science from Boston University
