Rakesh Shukla,
Co-Founder, 170 Systems, Inc.

Rakesh is a founder and lead evangelist for 170 Systems. Responsible for competitive analysis and strategy, strategic analysis of market trends, and product evangelism, he is the principle contributor of content to marketing. Prior to 170, he was a product manager in the database marketing group at Oracle, where he managed programmatic and call level interfaces and module language compilers. He was also responsible for introducing the SQL*Module and Oracle*Access products.

Earlier, Rakesh was a researcher at the Schlumberger Palo Alto Research Labs (SPAR), where he specialized in Artificial Intelligence verification systems and expert systems. He was also a graduate teaching assistant at MIT and a system consultant at the U.S. Information Agency in Washington, D.C.

Rakesh holds BS and Masters degrees in Computer Science from MIT.
