Online Document Access
Unlike the traditional paper office, where documents are photocopied for distribution and stored in file cabinets or stacked on desks, 170 MarkView allows authorized users to view electronic versions of paper documents online. Authorized users can access, view, annotate, and route documents electronically from a browser, liberating the organization from its dependence on photocopies, mail, and faxes.
With the 170 MarkView Viewer, you can interact with online documents by using the customizable 170 Markup tools. These tools - which include highlights, lines, sticky notes, stamps, forms and more - allow users to work with online documents in the same familiar way they work with paper documents. But the Markup tools take users even further. As an example, placing an "Approved" stamp on an invoice image automatically triggers a payment in the ERP system.
Strong Approval Framework
When documents are routed to approvers, the 170 MarkView Viewer presents all information including the relevant documents, audit history and relevant ERP system, data to the approver so that approvals are made with all of the available information. This enhances the accuracy and timeliness of approvals and authorizations.
Enhanced Document Security
In the paper world, documents can be misplaced, lost, or accidentally discarded. Paper documents containing confidential information can be photocopied and widely distributed. However, documents captured by 170 MarkView are stored electronically - they cannot be lost or misplaced, or altered in any way.
